(July 22, 2023, 7:32 pm)I can’t express my love enough to Gus’s fried chicken. I live close by so this is my regular visit spot. Obviously I love the fried chicken and their potato salad so so much but I wanna say their service has always been so welcoming. There’s one time I was hesitating in between wings and normal dark meat, the lady just hand me a wing and let me try it! Gus always makes me feel like I’m in a great, heartwarming community. I tell everyone who comes to Chicago, Gus’s has the best fried chicken. Love you guys!

(June 23, 2023, 5:36 pm)Maybe I just haven’t had a ton of fried chicken in my life but this place has me looking no further. The first time I had Gus’s there were actual tears in my eyes. I didn’t know fried chicken could be so good. Fries? Seasoned to absolute perfection. Whatever they are putting in the fries I need the recipe for.
Thank you to whoever is in the back kitchen for sneaking me extra pieces of chicken in my doordash orders too ❤️ -
