It was our First time here and all I can say is that is was good . The food was delicious! Definitely coming back here with my family

I have heard about Honeybear Cafe but had not tried it until we took a friend there for his birthday today. Everything I had heard on Facebook was true - the food is so incredibly good, and there is so much of it. Coffee was some of the best I've tasted in a long time. They are serious when they tell you to come hungry. The pancakes we got as sides were suitable for a meal in and of themselves - they were huge! Everything was cooked perfectly and , they had a great variety, and the little free pudding to start off with was very nice. Staff were incredibly friendly and took great pains to make sure we felt safe with hand sanitizer and by wearing masks the whole time. We cannot wait to tuck into our delicious leftovers, and plan to come back more often to try more of their offerings.

The dinner is great unfortunately Covid happen and now is only take out. I have ordered take out food and it is good but it's much better in the dinning room. Hopefully things get better and I am able to go back, I just love their food since it has a very nice country flavor.

I discovered Honeybear Cafe during COVID through delivery when the city was completely shut down, and I was so happy that I did. Honeybear goes above and beyond: they include little gifts with their food (such as a couple cookies) that make you feel like they really care. On top of that, their food is fantastic and high-quality. You can tell that their food is made with love.
I have also gotten great service over the phone, the staff seem very kind and invested in the success of the business. I hope that you all consider supporting this restaurant during this time-- we want places like this in Rogers Park to survive as long as possible!
Their menu is great- it includes classic diner favorites that are made miles above their local competitors, as well as more upscale offerings, like delicious fresh juices.
I have enjoyed the berry crepes, filled with tons of fresh berries and crepes with a good dose of vanilla--super yummy. I have also had french toast from them that was absolutely decadent, without being too sweet. Their bacon is nice and thick, good consistency and quality. Even their scrambled eggs are done well.
Honeybear feels like a modern twist on a classic diner, making you feel at home but thoroughly pleased. Order through their website; I'm assuming they get a larger portion of the bill and it's easy and quick. Consider supporting them- restaurants need our support now more than ever!

We came to Chicago to see our son’s show at Theo Unique Theater. We discovered Honeybear cafe and ate here both mornings. Pure Deliciousness!! You get a small slice of coffee cake when you sit down - yesterday it was blueberry and today it was apple. Unexpected delight. We got the Veggie and Havarti Omelette yesterday and today we got Avocado toast, and Fresh Vegetable skillet. Each was yummy. The Homemade Biscuit is HUGE. French Toast was delicious. Fresh fruits and veggies, yummy homemade flavors. Great service, too. Recommend it highly!! Don’t miss it.
