I was here for a social event. The place was neat and tidy on the inside. The way the bar tenders were dressed suggested that they cater to a different sort of crowd. I got night club vibe from the place.

It is an intimate setting. This place is small on the inside.

I booked Hue Chicago for a private event for roughly 30 people after a conference that took place at McCormick Place. We had a fantastic time, the staff was awesome, and the food was great. It was easily within walking distance of the event center. I will definitely use them again!

Small venue. I think it's a better set up than the previous business there, the velvet room. The servers were pleasant and brought drinks and food in a timely fashion. We did enjoy brunch platter. Shrimp and grits and 2 chicken and waffles skewers were hot and flavorful. Potatoes were seasoned and crunchy just like I enjoy. Fruit was sweet and a good variety. I ordered endless mimosas for 2 hrs for an additional $45 on top of the brunch which comes with a mimosa for $50. Overall I do not think the platter is priced properly at $50 for the portion. Should be $25 and include no mimosa if they are offering bottomless for $45. Should be a $65 brunch with bottomless mimosas...flat no options. May sell more since it's no traditional seating but the platter accommodates that as it's finger food ready and the grits come in a small bowl placed on dish which can be handheld.

I visited Hue this past Friday March 24th with my boo and a group of other people. It was guest list only so make sure to rsvp online before you go. There was no cover charge. They have a mandatory coat check that we didn’t use because it was full. The place was packed! It’s a cute space but was almost at full capacity. Even the area designated for private sections was packed to capacity, so I’m not sure what the benefit to paying for bottle service would be, because there was absolutely no place to sit or dance. The music was on point! Typical Rap/Hip-Hop.

We stayed at the bar and ordered multiple rounds of drinks and shots. The service was great for us.

Parking in the area can be tricky, and the department of revenue was definitely out ticketing and booting people, so drivers beware!!

My only complaint is that the place was veryyy packed. All in all I’d definitely visit again, probably before 11pm so the place wouldn’t be as crowded, but great for a Friday night out.

Experienced HUE during the 2022 holiday season. My friends and I attended for Happy hour on a Friday followed by their late night event w/a great DJ. Bar service was attentive & the light bites we ordered were great. 10/10 would recommend this spot to anyone that's in Chicago - especially young black professionals. 3 of the owners were there the night we attended and they all were friendly with all guests. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
