Great, authentic, spicy food! The staffs are very nice and helpful. Very long menu so we asked for recommendations and our waitress gave us few suggestions that are very delicious. Will return.
Currently visiting Chicago on a trip and wanted Chinese food, AMAZING! Owen was our server and he was so kind! Taught our table how to use chopsticks, quick about everything, and overall so nice! Plates are very large and you get your money’s worth.
Genuine and authentic Hunan cuisine. Chicago has lacked a teal Hunan restaurant since Lao Hunan closed. The spice level is high, but not to the extent that it obliterates other flavors of the ingredients. The Cumin Lamb has a more varied range of spices than the same dish elsewhere. The eggplant with green beans was particularly delicious. A mild house special soup was a good contrast with a nice rich broth. Without question one of Chicago’s finest Chinese restaurants.
OMG…my mouth is burning! So crazy good. Reminds me of our trip to Changsha in 2019…maybe even better. Everything was so spicy and flavorful….the beef was tender & lean and the fish had minimal bones. The restaurant was clean and the staff were really friendly. Will definitely return.
I had the stewed duck with some chicken egg rolls. Egg rolls came out fresh and hot, very tasty. The stewed duck was also good. The broth was amazing. This was my first meal of the day, a little heavy choice. I suggest this plate for a dinner meal. 4 stars cause the don't serve any alcohol. Still highly recommend this place
