Italian Homemade Company

I used to go to the one in SF when I lived there and I loved it so I was very excited to hear that they’d open up one in Chicago. The pasta is handmade there (you can watch them make it at the window). Everything is very reasonably priced and the portions are great. My husband and I ordered the pesto with tagliatelle and the garden tomato salad and they were both delicious. We ordered the vegetable lasagna and it was very tasty. When in season, the pesto tagliatelle is perfection. It’s byob right now but it looks like they are working towards getting a liquor license soon. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot!

Underrated gem! For $15 we are a giant plate of fresh pasta comparable to the pasta we’ve had at much more expensive Italian eats in west loop. We got the sage and butter pappardelle. The staff is super sweet and the space is surprisingly spacious and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Yes, yes and more yes. This place is a beautiful addition to Fulton Market. Homemade pasta, sandwiches and more at affordable prices. I was so overwhelmed ordering because I wanted to try it all.

The staff was absolutely above and beyond. Patient while we ordered, checking in while we ate and clearing plates upon finishing. Even though we were “those” customers walking in a bit too close to closing time, they were more than accommodating and did not rush us out. There is something here to satisfy every palette. My only regret is not ordering another dish to take home for the next day! Beautifully curated space with epic food.

Julie is incredible my favorite go to for SUPREME homemade Italian Food! I’m from Colorado going on a year or so here in Illinois and I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH how good the food is!! Yet THE Italian Homemade Company specializes in a unique taste their pastas will melt in your mouth!!!! Thank you guys for sharing your cuisine with us you’re much appreciated!

Loved this place! Perfect if you’re just looking to satisfy your craving for some Italian staples. Their lasagna was well-built, layered beautifully, and flavorful. Perfectly cooked and textured gnocchi with a beautiful sauce (I did pesto). Never had a Piadina and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Friendly, fast, attentive staff/service. Will definitely be coming back often, a welcomed addition to Fulton Market!
