Kanela Breakfast Club

Went on a Sunday late morning and had no wait for a table as there restaurant were maybe 6 tables seated with guests. They were out of the juice I wanted, but my second choice was good. The red velvet french toast was terrific. I ordered biscuits and gravy, which was mediocre: the biscuits were tough, the gravy was bland, the sausage was okay, and eggs were fine. The most annoying thing is that we were a small party (4 people) and the restaurant was far from busy, yet my fiance's meal came out long after everyone else's food. How hard is it to hold a few plates while the last one cooks? Or just ensure all the meals were ready at the same time. This is basic stuff.

Had an issue with a Postmates order and the manager was so great in resolving the issue. Changed my review to 5 stars despite the frustration and I’m so thankful she was able to turn my frown upside down.

This place is on the higher end but 100% worth it. We got a variety of dishes and beverages at the table and everything was phenomenally delicious. The service was wonderful. Would come back and recommend but be prepared to spend at least 17$ per person
