Kapitan

Kapitan has amazing Malaysian food! I was looking for somewhere that served Kway Teow so I’m really glad to have found Kapitan. The Laksa, dessert and cocktails were all delicious too.

The first time I came to Kapitan, I went by myself and had a wonderful conversation with my server. She let me know about a Lion Dance event, so I came back with a few friends and we all enjoyed the food and entertainment.

Great authentic Malaysian food! I loved every dish we ordered and the service was great too. The Kapitan chicken and Beef rendang Are absolutely delicious.

Food is pricey. Service is bad. Food is altered from original flavor, some changes are good but some are bad, I like how they twist the flavor of beef rendang, it's better than most places. But their chili shrimp is a failed, way to sweet compared to what I had in Singapore!

Absolutely incredible dining experience. I never tried Peranakan food before but after a visit here, I’ll be putting this delicious unique Asian cuisine into regular rotation. An expansive menu and lovely decor await. Go there.

Worth the walk. This location is usually a death sentence for establishments, but we would return. If we still loved a few blocks away this would be in our rotation.

Flavorful dishes within the palate range of most people with some room to...explore if you feel inclined (I'm looking at you fish balls.) Their take on the burger was the high point, wonderful blend of sweet and spicy.
