North Branch Fried Chicken

This is my new Friday go to spot for dinner. Amazing chicken sandwich, amazing burger and now I'm looking forward to trying the fish sandwich. Also had the brisket and it had that perfect smoke flavor with plenty of meat to it. If your in the neighborhood try it out, you won't regret it!

Excellent! The chicken was similar to Mother Cluckers' in quality and taste. The pieces were a good size and were not greasy. The breading was good as well. Definitely some of the best chicken on the entire northwest side, and easily better than the chicken you get at the chain places. It might be a few more dollars but way worth it-- locally owned business. The workers communicated well and were friendly. They had about six large tables inside that were spaced apart, and a garage door that was opened-- so there was plenty of fresh air inside (for those worried about Covid). Our order was on time and the workers made sure we had everything we needed, and verified the order was correct. We'll definitely be back! They have other stuff on the menu besides chicken including plenty of sides and appetizers.

Got the Chicago Fried Chicken sandwich, it was very good! Moist on the inside, crunchy on the outside. No overwhelming deep fried flavor. The sauces are also delicious. Should've taken my picture before taking a bunch of bites out of it ?

Wow! Best fried chicken sandwich I've had in a long time. My wife had the 2 piece fried chicken and it was the perfect combination of juicy tender chicken with crispy crunchy crust. We also really enjoyed the side orders of fries, coleslaw, pit beans and cheesy potatoes. Highly recommend you check this place out if you're in the area.

Stopped here on a whim one day with a bunch of my girlfriends. We ordered one of everything and honestly, everything was outstanding. The fried fish was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The fried chicken was out of this world with flavor and texture. The burger with the grilled onions was phenomenal. This may sound odd, but the buns they use are actually the best I’ve ever had. Soft and fluffy but also super flavorful. The coleslaw wasn’t too creamy/mayo based and was super crunchy and fresh. Beans were flavorful and not too thick and syrupy. Cheesy potatoes were the perfect cheesy bite to hit the spot. Oh and the CHOCOLATE CAKE. AMAZING.

This place is owned locally and I was happy to support the owner John. Such a great sort for a quick lunch or low key dinner.
