Offset BBQ

The parking wasn't bad. Was lucky enough to park directly across the street. We had reservations at 6:30pm. The host tried to sit us in the front section by the door, but we declined and sat in the back with the other patrons. Our server was a young lady, her name is Maria, I think. She was very knowledgeable and personable.
The food was very good, we had the chicken wings, Elote,(corn on cob); and the shrimp for an appetizers. The seasoning was on point for all of it. My wife actually does not eat seafood, but she tried the shrimp and enjoyed it. We had the meat platter, which consisted of: brisket, cheddar sausage, pulled pork, pulled chicken and for $10 more we had the St Louis style ribs added. Everything was great, but the chicken could have used a little more seasoning.
Did not get desert because we were Way full. Enjoyed how they had us spaced out as well.
We will be going back again!

Went there for the first time today, but it won't be my last. Shared some food with my daughter. Had some cauliflower with cheese, awesome. Had the shrimp, cooked and seasoned perfectly. Had the waffle fries, I mean how could anyone mess these up. I've had plenty of waffle fries in my days of eating out and these guys nailed them. Crispy, hot, great taste.
Only mistake I made was not buying some of their BBQ sauces for my homemade BBQ.
Atmosphere is great, casual and super clean.
I will be heading back soon.
One other thing, prices are right in line .

This place is the real deal! New to Chicago and was looking for a good BBQ spot. So far I've tried the BBQ chicken sandwich, the sliced pork shoulder sandwich and the BBBLT and everything has been amazing, not to mention how good the waffle fries are!! The owners are extremely kind and you can tell how much they care about their business and their customers. Will definitely be going back!

Excellent! We ordered the waffle fry nachos, brisket sandwich, ribs, and wedge salad and enjoyed everything. Online ordering was easy and food was ready and hot at the selected pick up time. I wasn’t sure what to expect for the frozen key lime pie but it was amazing! Glad to have this meeting gem in the neighborhood.

Sauce was bold and punchy. Everything was delicious. A little late on the delivery but at this point it's absolutely forgiveable. I'm sure things will get worked out.

Pro tip: The chicken fried ribs. Each rib is cut individually, breaded and fried. Such a unique twist turns it into a true, tasty, finger food. Definitely will be ordered often.
