Humboldt Haus Sandwich Bar

This is small cozy bar. The service was great Smilly faces all around. The sandwiches are delicious. You have to pay for parking on the main street (North Ave.) But of you fell lucky you can press your luck and park for free on the side street.

Awesome local bar. Excellent, often rare beer, fantastic sub sandwiches, super cool staff, and friendly regulars. Always a good place to hang.

Humboldt Haus is part of what makes chicago great and I have ordered and dined in more times then I can count. You can sit at their small fully stocked bar or order to go. The sandwich’s are always on point and if you get delivery you can even order a six pack of beer with your food. What more could you ask for.

Place is great. I order, on average, about once a week. I usually get the Italian sandwich, which is amazing. Tonight I went for the beast. They're not screwing around. It's kinda hard to eat, but in a good way. Staff is always friendly and they have a bar in there too. Never ate at the bar because I always have my dog with me. But highly recommend this place.
