The food is good, the service prompt and courteous, but their portions are a bit small, especially for the entrées at their price point.
The food here was truly excellent. Out of the appetizers, the Gobi Manchurian, samosas, and fried onions were all excellent. Among the sides, the chili and garlic naan and coconut rice were phenomenal, and while the raita was more liquid than expected it was still very good. For dinner, the Madras chicken korma was very tender and had a good amount of spice. The rasmalai for dessert was very sweet, so I would recommend chai to go with it. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, everything was prepared in a good amount of time. It's not especially cheap (about $18 for an entree and rice), but it's worth the cost.
Not as Dope as Rangoli Classic Indian Dining, however really good classic Indian fare
The food was excellent. The restaurant uses a stone tandoori oven to bake the naan and meats which imparts great flavor. The tandoori chicken was great. The rogan josh was also very flavorful. It's Byob but there's a liquor store conviently located two doors down.
Finally a really good Indian restaurant in Lincoln Park! Delicious food and really interesting green chicken curry dish based on cilantro with some heat. Naan was perfect (this is very important to me!). Only flaw was that service was struggling to keep up once things got really busy.
