The beets were amazing, and the pork ribs were very good as well. I had a glass of a Croatian red, very good choice. The service was very kind and extremely helpful; when I told the waitress that I didn’t eat cheese but I did eat other forms of dairy, she went dish-by-dish all over the menu to identify cheese and dairy ingredients.
Not cheap, but given what we’ve come to expect from high-end restaurants in large cities, prices were not outrageous. Good value for money. Will definitely come back in my next visit to Chicago
My fiance and I love eating out and trying new restaurants. We live in Fulton Market and regret how long its taken us to get to Rosemary. We get there and they offer us a regular table or two seats at the chefs counter. The chefs counter it was and my, was it a phenomenal experience. First off I commend the staff behind the bar and in the kitchen. As we sat there watching the dishes be prepared and the extensive process displayed by the staff we were in awe by the hard work and organization if everyone involved. Each dish was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were refreshing. Our waitress was also top notch and made our experience 10 times better. I drink a lot of water during my meals, so something that I always look for is that my glass is always filled, which is something Rose Mary did exceptionally. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I will definitely be back and try other things on the menu. Again, I cannot stress enough how amazing my experience was at Rose Mary. Thank you to their team.
We had a terrific time dining at Rose Mary. We arrived plenty early for our evening reservation and had a cocktail at the Time Out Market bar while we waited (quite inventive and tasty!). The dining area was quite busy but the service was always attentive and our food came out quickly. We loved the carrot/fregola dish, the roasted beets, the mushroom risotto, and the pork ribs! Prices were very reasonable given the quality and uniqueness of the food we enjoyed. We will certainly be coming back in the future!
First, the service was impeccable. Our server and all the other staff were extremely attentive.
Overall though we were slightly disappointed. The appetizers were very good. However, most of the dishes for the main course were extremely salty. The Lamb ragu pasta had a strange aftertaste. The table next to us ordered the same pasta and they made the same comment when they saw us eating it. The halibut was cooked to perfection however yet again the beans and the sauce that accompanied the fish were too salty to eat. The squash cake for dessert made up for some of the disappointment as it was definitely delicious.
After waiting 2 months for the reservation, we are not rushing to come back to eat the food again.
Came here for our anniversary, hard to get a reservation but I walked in a week beforehand and asked. They remembered and gave us champagne upon entry. Loved every dish we had but wish we got the ribs. Definitely ordered way too much food though I would say 4 plates would’ve been a better option for my husband and I. Enjoyed all sides, pasta, and meat entrees. Service was impeccable, they made it such an experience.
