Sweet Bean

5-star means that I will return again! Sweet Beans sells Asian buns, pastry, coffee, hot foods (like dumplings and noodles), snacks and etc. Venue is clean; staff is helpful; bakery products may vary depending on the time of the day you visit. It’s a place that requires multiple visits to get a true appreciation.

This place is amazing. Best London Fog I’ve ever had. Who knew using loose-leaf tea and not filling it with sugar syrup by default would make such a difference! Kind, courteous, and knowledgeable staff. Clean as a whistle, with plenty of space to work or study at and lots of outlets for power. Clean bathrooms and in an ideal area. This is my new stop when I’m in the area and need a place to recharge. Will be back many more times, I’m sure.

I would like to start by saying this is the first time I have ever rated any establishment online. When I say that Sweet Bean deserves not only 5 stars, but every star in the universe, I mean it. I have been everyday since my first time trying them out. The staff are perfect, the food is perfect, the coffee is perfect.. everything about Sweet Bean is the golden standard of all eatery’s around the globe.

I will continue to start each day with their friendly hospitality, amazing breakfast and then back again for their lunch. I am agnostic but Sweet Bean as lead me to believe their is a God.

We stopped here quick for some coffees and the flow was simple and quick. Prices were reasonable and they seemed to offer a lot of good food options as well. Inside they had a separate area for seating which felt quaint and eclectic. Service was quick and the Mocha was delicious.

Wonderful hidden gem in south loop! From the outside it looks like a normal coffee shop but they also have a selection of delicious Asian pastries and even homemade dumplings.
