Kathy is always happy to serve. Need to change their auto ordering as many times cards don't get swiped in them. Option of bread, apple or chips can be changed to a small sweet thing.
Hot Coco hit the spot in our little blizzard today...timing was perfect...wonderful wait staff
I'm giving it five stars because not the level of service. The self help kiosk had trouble and the manager promptly and kindly took care of us. Panera bread food is pretty much the same everywhere. That's why they are quick and easy, but customer service makes the difference.
I am very disappointed with this location. I've patronized this Panera for years, as I go to school a block away, and I've never had a bad experience until tonight. I placed my order at a time I thought was early enough to be able to get sourdough bread/a baguette, but I guess not. I placed my order at about 8:30 and ordered a sandwich on sourdough, but unfortunately they didn't have any. I also wanted a baguette with my soup, which I also couldn't get. I understand that restaurants operate at a lower volume closer to the time they close, but I wouldn't expect them to nix such a popular item (unless it's not as popular as I thought). Either way, Panera is usually pretty good about updating their kiosks if they run out of an item, but I had no idea they had no more sourdough and if I had, I would've just gone somewhere else.
UPDATE: I called and spoke with the manager, Herman, and he was very friendly, helpful, and understanding. I explained the situation and all he wanted to do was make it better. He said that whatever he could do to fix it, he would do, and he offered to either have me pick up some vouchers or mail them.
