Sze Chuan Alley 成都巷子

Chengdu Kong Pao chicken was pretty good, I really recommend getting the boiled fish in spicy Szechuan sauce and the string beans are a must. Just keep in mind servings are pretty big.
My only complaint is that we also ordered another entree but it never came out. We waited 45mins for it until we decided to go ask when it was coming out only for them to tell us that it was sold out.. Had they told us sooner we could have just ordered something else instead of waiting for that long.

Food is okay. I’ve had real good Szechuan food in Bay Area and china so could be a bit picky just fyi. Just an average restaurant. Definitely not top notch but acceptable.

Pork intestine is too dry. The ginger is a bit sweet honestly which tastes odd. Authentic sliced pickled ginger go to these dishes should not be that sweet. Makes me think they just get sushi ginger.

Really glad that we went there after getting advertisement from Xiaohongshu. Food is really authentic as a native Chengduer. Love the boiled spicy roast duck and boiled frog hot stone. The spicy oil is the essence, you can smell it far away. Would definitely go back to try more.

Every dishes we ordered was super good and authentic(very important to me - I am come from Szechuan)!

All the dishes prepared very well, the service is excellent, I can see this will be my go ti place for Chinese food in the neighborhood.
