I ate a large spicy chicken bowl. For someone who judges a place on how full I get, how good the food is, and how much I spend, this an absolute 10/10. Seriously best bang for the buck and best taste for the bud. Get food from here!

Food is so amazing. I had the chicken Katsu bowl. Healthy, fresh and delicious. What a great concept. Love this place. You must try.

I saw this place on my way to the grocery store to shop and on my way back decided to drop in and try something different. The place was clean, the cashier was helpful with the menu and sizing. I decided to try the Spicy Chicken with White rice and vegetables. The service was fairly quick and everything was hot - fresh. The chicken was tender and my choice of vegetables - cabbage and carrots were fresh and steamed just right. My only thing was that the spices used on the chicken tasted only okay and it wasn’t that hot or spicy. I will be going back and this time try the Teriyaki Chicken because I have always been a fan of Teriyaki Chicken.

Took my sister to check out this new spot near the atrium of a newly renovated university in downtown Chicago. Her friend's dad is a co-owner (bonus!! ?). Was greeted immediately by the cashier. My sis ordered for herself & four others so I'm NOT EVEN going to list what she had ?. While she ordered, I had plenty of time to peruse the menu. Your choice of meat, rice (white or brown) & veggies in your choice of bowl size. I ordered a large chicken teriyaki bowl with veggies & subbed noodles for rice ($1 extra) & a large orange chicken bowl with veggies & noodles for my dad. The kitchen is located in another area, so you can't see your food being cooked ?. Took a little while for my order but good, fresh food takes time, eh? Everything was so good & filling, although the veggies were a little too crunchy (had to work my jaws on those ?). They said they can cook the veggies a little longer to soften them up. I intend to request that with my order for the next time. And it's a black owned Chinese restaurant!! Cool ?

I’ve never been disappointed everytime going here. I’ve ordered from steak, chicken & vegan bowls. All were good. I definitely recommend you try it out. I ordered to-go bowls for a workout event of 50 people I hosted outdoors in the park. Everyone really enjoyed the food.
