Excellent. Half price Monday for pizza. Al and Fantima are wonderful workers.
Decided to give Leona's in Elk Grove Village a try since we knew the name and it is very close to home. I was delighted to discover that they offer daord free vegan cheese as a topping on their pizzas! Vegan pizza? Five minutes from home? Yes please! The pizza was delicious and I was happy to have it again as leftovers the next day.
We went on a Friday karaoke night. My friend and boyfriend participated and had a great time. The crowd here is fun and friendly, the staff was very helpful and welcoming.
Leona's is a great casual hangout and would be perfect for a date night, family dinner or a night out with friends.
My only complaint was the drink I had. I ordered a margarita on the rocks and it was essentially just lemonade. For eight dollars, it was not worth it. The prices are a bit steep for a casual pizza joint, but for a fun night once in a while, it's worth it.
Great food, friendly people, fun atmosphere, definitely recommend Leona's!
Very good food. The staff is very helpful and always in good spirits. I
highly recommend this place.
This is a nice spot. And the food has been good so far. I recommend the chicken Romano. Or the lasagna. Both were very good. The have great drink and food specials. The only cons would be the soup was only served Luke warm not hot and the dining area is extremely bright. Dimmed lights would create more ambiance.
Pro tip:. Go on Wednesday for the five dollar spaghetti and meatballs. It's enough to satisfy, very good and a great deal.
