Great place and location. This location has been a staple in Elk Grove for as long as I can remember...and I'm 51. They have cleaned up the dining room and added a more up to date set of chairs and seats. Also, and where it counts, the menu has changed as well. I am sorry I couldn't provide more in-depth knowledge into the changes, but I'll try to include more insite in future reviews.

Browns Chicken used to be a decent sized presence in Chicagoland with many stores and great fried chicken. In recent years their presence has diminished, in large part due to misfortune not of their own doing. But this Browns in Elk Grove keeps the flame burning. They serve excellent, great tasting chicken, full sized pieces. They also sell pasta selections and some beef and sausage sandwiches like you can get at Portillos. I don't get those other items at Browns, so I'm not going to be able to make recommendations. But the chicken is top notch.
