“A great new addition to the neighborhood! The food is outstanding (definitely try the Korean meatballs and tuna tower) and it’s an awesome place to grab a drink. Obviously this is the spot if you love wine but they definitely have something for everyone. Barrel-aged Manhattan is my favorite, plus they have a solid beer list, and even well crafted mocktails. I’m excited about all the new life flowing through Mount Prospect but Patina is the star of the show!”

“This was my wife’s and my first time dining here at A Thousand Tales restaurant and it was unbelievably delicious!!! First time trying Turkish food and we loved it! Ken and his staff was so friendly and accommodating to us answering all our questions. The food was so fresh and the quality of the meats we ate was so mouth watering. We found our new favorite restaurant! We also tried Turkish coffee for the first time complimentary by Ken the manager and now we are hooked. The pistachio baklava for dessert topped off the night!!! So delicious and the best I ever had! If you love Turkish food or never tried it this place is the place to go!”

“A GREAT addition to the Mount Prospect neighborhood. They have taken a building that was previously a real eye-sore, fully rehabbed it, and turned it into a must stop location. The building looks wonderful. That alone is worth 5 stars. As for the food, that gets 5-stars as well. The hot dogs and fries are exactly what you hope for. Very good, you will enjoy them. The staff is friendly and quick with their service. We really enjoy walking over to Hubby's with our kids. Love to see the popularity with the lines out the door already. “Edit on 2/25/19: have been coming in for the past month often and service as well as quality of food/cocktails decreased rapidly from the previous times. Was upset since I liked coming here often! Then today I drive by and there’s a different sign for “studio 34.” Not sure if it will continue business as usual but from what I experienced, I won’t be coming in for a while. Not sure why businesses don’t last very long, it’s a good location! Original review: Love coming here on Thursdays because the tacos are pretty good! Food comes out pretty quickly and it tastes great. But unfortunately every time we order dessert, they’re out of ice cream, or certain cakes. There’s been times where they’re out of beers at 5pm, or small items like lime. Other than that, service is pretty good and the servers are friendly and attentive, and the food is great!! Prices are fair, I think their cocktails are steep but I tend to take advantage of the daily specials. Overall a good place to visit.”

“We had been there once this summer and sat outside. We were very uncomfortable but went the other day and ate indoors of course. It was so good I had a glass of wine and a great hamburger. “Quite possibly the best Polish food I've had outside Poland. The smoked sheep cheese may be the best thing on the menu. The food is truly authentic polish. It's hearty and tasty. In addition to the sheep cheese, try the smoked kielbasa. Basically anything smoked!”
