One of my favorite eats in Evanston. Amazing burgers, fries, and shakes.
Must try the lobster and angry fries- you won’t be disappointed

I really liked this place. Simple, unpretentious burgers (dogs and sausages too) cooked and served quickly and well. In a world full of gimmick and trendy restaurants that are hit or miss, it's satisfying to see, order, and get exactly what you expect. It wasn't the best burger I have ever had, but it was a textbook example of what I consider to be the perfect specimen of a burger. I don't mean for that to sound negative at all, it was delicious. The fries were also great. We opted for the standard fries, but the other options were interesting. If I lived in the area I could see myself eating here regularly.

Great burgers and the garlic fries are the bomb! Delicious with garlic parsley butter! I enjoy the swiss cheese burger. Milk shakes are fresh made topped with whipped cream and a red cherry. Edzo's team are friendly and welcoming.

Edzo's is consistently among my favorite Evanston restaurants. I always bring guests from out of town here for lunch to taste the fresh, locally sourced, house-ground beef and their wild assortment of toppings for french fries. I always go with a simple cheese burger here with some garlic fries. They treat their staff quite well, from what I can tell. And it's always nice to support local restaurants with a long history.
