Wow, this place is the best restaurant in Evanston. The quality and thought behind every dish is amazing. I hope they win a Michelin star. I doubt they will though because you have to have a high level of pompousness in service to get one. There is no pomp here just awesome.
Bold, creative and sophisticated Thai cuisine. Unlike any Thai restaurant you’ve ever been to before and worth a few visits! Great food, great service in an inviting cool and chill space!
God I love this place, here's all the reasons why I keep coming back:
1) Amazing food: not a crazy long menu but very well curated. Unique and interesting food, but nothing over the top
2) Amazing staff: really truly kind and attentive servers and management
3) Amazing atmosphere: Not too loud, interesting decor, just overall a good ambiance
Will definitely be coming back!
An absolute delight. Great atmosphere with tasteful decor. Beautiful presentations of food with unique twists on common Thai dishes. Fresh ingredients and well-balanced recipes deliver a delicious dining experience. Don't miss this gem!
As a veteran of numerous trips to Thailand, I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. Portions are kind of small for the price, pretty small menu, and the taste was nothing special. I enjoyed the prawn curry, but it was no better than any other decent curry I've had. The seafood soup was kind of bland and i didn't really like the flavor that there was. Curry chicken was okay...and the Bangkok noodles were okay, too, but again pretty bland and not something i would ever need to have again. The big fish was stuffed with spices and so had a nice flavor, but was too dry. Personally, i really missed many of the typical dishes that are served at Thai restaurants... Maybe if you think of this as something other than a Thai restaurant it would be more enjoyable, but either way, I don't think I'll go back. PS I went at lunch, not sure if that impacts anything in terms of portion size vs price, or menu options.
