    The food was great the cashier however screwed up my entire order....the girl she was training with looked about 16 and neither one was paying attention to me when I ordered and this caused massive confusion when I got my food. I ordered 5 orders of fries and got one and no drinks when I ordered 3. Easy stuff if they had listened.

    Food was excellent as always. Nearly perfect Italian beef just needed a little more gravy and I ordered it dipped. Staff was friendly but not too personable. Didn't really seem happy to be there.

    Had the eggs & pepper sandwich. My friend got big pieces of pepper on top.......I did not!
    Hard to get up & down so I didn't go back up. My fault.
    Also other Portillos had garlic bread, the one on Barrington Rd in Illinois did not. All in all it was good.

    Heard that Portillo's has a Mint Shake that I wanted to compare with McDonald's Shamrock Shake. The prices were the same, but I think the Portillo's shake had more volume. The Portillo's Shake was very good with a subtler, more natural flavor than the Shamrock Shake. Definitely worth a try.
