“We've anticipated this place being restored and opening up. The first time we went - we were so pleased! The menu included the history and pictures - food was interesting, specialty drinks were small and overpriced, but tasty. We took friends, and the service was slow, the food less than great, the caesar salad that was once unique was not good at all. They removed the pictures and history of the renovation from the menu. We keep going back because we like the outdoor patio and the atmosphere, but haven't been wowed by the food, service, prices, or specialty drinks. The beer options are nice, though!”

“We really like Union Tap. They are very friendly and accommodating. The food is absolutely delicious. We love the Giant nachos. I always have the Swiss and mushroom burger because it is soooo good. However I had the grilled chicken sandwich tonight and it was fabulous. I’m so glad that there is such a great neighborhood bar and grill right by the house. We like supporting local businesses. The only negative thing I can say is that I wish they served Moscato.”

“This place was a total surprise. Found on Yelp and convinced the girlfriend to go here. It's a small little hole in the wall type joint but it's cozy on the inside and clean. The bartender we had was very nice and made the drinks spot on. I saw they had good wings and wanted to try them and they were delicious. Crispy skin but still had an awesome sauce. We had two of theirs, the spicy Guinness and adobo beer glaze and both were killer. The calamari was some of the best cooked we've had as well. I'm looking forward to going back for more wings and trying their burgers.”

“This is a lovely in spacious venue located on North avenue strategically in between Johnnie's beef and Alpine sandwich shop to the West. I decided to surprise my son today with a double burger and an oriole milkshake.I passed on the milkshake and the fries but had a turkey burger. They also had chicken and the wait staff was very nice and helpful. If you're ever in the area I suggest stop in, although there are plenty of other options.”

It's a tough spot to be in for a Mexican food restaurant. They seem to hold their own, so maybe I'll give them another try if I'm feeling like tacos, tortas, sopes, or a burrito.”
