Franklin Avenue Foods

This place is a great find. The menu is limited to several sandwiches Arachini (rice balls) and panzerotti (we were told it is an Italian pizza puff). I had their Saturday special, in-house made focicia with Italian cold cuts (mortadella, capocollo, salami, etc...). It was excellent and could easily feed two. We also had the Italian combo, meatball sandwich, and Italian sausage sandwich with red sauce. The French Fries are addictive. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are friendly and attentive. The lobby has seating for about twelve people, but half of that is at a table of six.

Stopped in today after driving by a couple times the last couple of weeks. Saw panzerotti on the menu and couldn't pass it up. Since my favorite panzerotti restaurant closed I haven't found a decent replacement. Restaurant is very clean inside. Menu is limited, but offers many Italian staples. Ordered 2 panzerotti, one cheese and one sausage, for me and my wife. We were both extremely happy with the taste of the sauce and the texture of the dough. Recommend giving them a try! Will be back to try other items on the menu.

Got the arancini meat and panzerotti. Both were perfectly cooked, tasted pretty good! Never tasted such fluffy dough. And service was quick, the cashier was very helpful with describing the menu items.
This place is conveniently very close to my work and I'll definitely be coming back.

Just stopped here today! We tried the cheese and sausage panzerotti! The dough was so fluffy and cooked to perfection. The cheese was stringy just the way it should be! The sausage inside was soo tasty! We also tried the arrancini and Italian sandwhich. Both these items were exactly what you’d want these items to taste like. Clearly Quality ingredients and made with love from the super friendly Italian staff :) will be coming here again!
