Ella's Italian Pub - Western Springs

The food was delicious at this new WS restaurant. I ordered a dinner salad & it was so fresh & crispy. The dressing was yummy. My cocktails were also very tasty. The service was stellar. Very friendly hostess, bartender & server. Very attentive & food & drinks came out in a timely Fashion. Will def be going back to try more items on their menu.

Place is inviting, and elegant. Service is on point and their know their product. I asked what beer they have on tap and without hesitation she named then all and told their flavor profile. Food is really unique and delicious. I would never thought to eat zucchini on a pizza, but now that's my go to meal. Their pizza could will fill up 2-3 people while trying some other apps. Will be back most def!

Love Ella’s! What a cool, quaint spot in Western Springs. The Pizzas had just the right amount of sauce and crisp to the edges, the pasta - vodka cavatelli with sausage is to die for! We had the Arribetta Cotto pizza and it was seriously delicious! We have already made 3 more reservations over the next few weeks to take friends! We can’t wait to go back!

This place knocked my socks off with the whole experience. I came here with my parents, and we got three pizzas (Mediterranean, Ella's Special, and the mushroom/truffle) that were all excellent. We couldn't really choose between them when it came to which was the best! The pizzas had excellent flavor, the pizza crust was light and bubbly, and the portions were incredible - we were only able to eat about 30% of each pizza, so there were tons of leftovers (a MAJOR bonus in my book).

The service was excellent, with it being unobtrusive in nature (such as not walking over and interrupting discussions or anything of the sort). Our server was very polite and responsive, even offering additional chips (house made) for the appetizer we ordered (onion dip, which was also dynamite). The environment was warm and subdued (great coloring and artwork on the walls, slightly dimmed lights). We definitely plan to return again in the future, as the dining experience was entirely positive!

What a great place to have dinner with family or friends. Excellent spot to drop in for a drink at the bar as well. Lots of TV's in the area and tables with leather seating are very comfortable. The food was excellent. We had the Whipped Feta & pork belly for an appetizer and everyone (including the kids ages 9&11) loved them. The pan BBQ chicken pizza was delicious. The Vodka Cavatelli was one of the best we have had in Chicago with handmade ricotta cavatelli. The restaurant was very organized considering they just opened this week, our server was on point and really friendly.
We will definitely be back!
