The staff is really nice and creative, give you different options and the pies are great.
I really wish they hadn't closed down the majority of their restaurants...Just happened to be in Niles to take care of some things so when I saw it we had to stop! They didn't disappoint! Love their Chicken Stir Fry pita and French Silk pie!
A nice place for a decent breakfast, lunch or dinner - you can get pancakes, sausages, omelettes, sandwiches, roasts, and chicken meals plus more. May not be the most healthy of meals but does well for me.
But, the place is well known for it's pies - pumpkin, pecan, cherry and much much more. If you get pies for Thanksgiving, make sure you make a reservation as certain pies won't be available without a reservation. I got my reservation for a pumpkin pie fulfilled but a lady ahead of me didn't make a reservation and wasn't able to buy one.
Granted, their pies aren't the best but they are decent. If I wanted better, I'll go to a local bakery, but Bakers Square is, as I said before, decent.
Service tends to be decent to good, staff is helpful and doesn't so the hard on food items, maybe except for pie for dessert. Furnishings are alright but may need see modernizing. Plenty of parking in the back - leave the front parking for the handicapped and older folks, please.
Poor service. Turkey club Sandwich on the dry side cheese slice inside was too thick . Hardly any mayo.no condiments offered Waiter plopped the plate down and walked away. I was by myself and maybe he thought I wasn't going to leave a very large tip. I always overtip when I am by myself. He never came back to check on me . When I was finished a waitress came by and asked if I wanted anything . I told her I never got my cherry pie that came with the meal.she came back very quickly with the pie. I thanked her and she left. While I was eating and looking down a check magically appeared on the table. Again it was slapped down. I finished and paid. No one asked if it was good .Or how was the service. I thought the special was a good deal but with tip it was almost $20.00! How did sandwiches get so pricey?
