“I have been going for over 5 years to this place that is located in Palatine on Rand/Dundee. When I found out accidentally that they opened this place by my house in Niles, I was more than excited. The food is absolutely the same which is important to us, and it tastes as great as the one in Palatine. Every time I visit they make me feel like I’m home, as if I’m family. I have become a regular costumer, and now that this place is by my house, I’ll be going twice as often. I highly recommend this place to people that love Indian food, U won’t leave disappointed.”

“Went to celebrate a birthday. My husband and in-laws are meat lovers, so we were very much looking forward to this meal. We ordered the $29.99 option, however the only thing we really enjoyed was the beef bulgogi which was about the only thing well marinated. Our server was such a sweetheart and it was a good experience! ...But at the end you really go for the food, which unfortunately was a disappointment for me especially.”

“Came in over the weekend with the whole restaurant filled. A male employee approached us and greeted us with a great smile, immediately told us if we were fine with waiting for a table to open and ordering for the mean time as we were waiting. When seated, even though there was very many customers he still had the time to continuously check on us if everything was good from food to drinks to our day (very impressed and well trained) food came in 15 minutes after sitting. The food was great and the halo was flavourful! will definitely be coming back! Every employee seemeed very well trained and attentive. as a first time customer, we will definitely be coming back!!”

“If you go early, you get your choice of anything. But anything after 11am, you might as well go to a grocery store bakery. It would be nice to know they stay stocked at least to get til a few hours before they close. I understand them not wanting to have waste, but they can always sell day old and fresh. They would still run out if they did that. I've been told their donuts come pre made and frozen. Not sure how true, but if that is true, there is no reason to run out”

“The food was very tasty, however, calling this a "Restaurant is a HUGE stretch. Eating there tonight, we froze our butts off, because the only 2 small tables are about 4 feet away from the door, and the temperature outside was 8 degrees! We sat there wearing coats. Once the hot soup came, that helped! Very busy place, but it is a take out place, NOT good for dining in, at all! At least, not during cold or chilly weather!! They do have tall counter window seating, but my daughter's in a wheelchair so we didn't have much choice. No hot drinks available, not even tea, (but I had a teabag and they had hot water). And food was served to us in styrofoam containers. But, like I said, the food was yummy. Take it to GO!!”

“I absolutely love this place! I used to go there when they first opened, then I left for 12 years and came back and they’re still one of the best places for Tacos in Des Plaines. I typically go 2-3 times a week for lunch and get either tacos or a burrito and get either chicken or steak and it’s always the best. They always have my order ready in 10 minutes or less and are very good to their customers. I highly recommend this restaurant!”

We came across Mama Maria Pizza and looking over their menu, everything looked normal until you see Bihari Kebab Sandwich out of no where. Their menu is half pizza-store classics and then Indian-American inspired food. We ordered take out via Yelp and we ordered two items. We ordered the Mama Supreme #3, all meat supreme large (~$13). It had crisped up pepperoni, little rounds of sausage and the spicy, tandoori chicken pieces. I was surprised with the flavor profile of the chicken but it worked with the pizza. If you like meat, then you'll enjoy this pizza.”

“Has been open for a couple of years and is right down street from us, but never went because space has changed hands several times going way back and wife had bad taste from previous tenant...I can't explain logic. Anyway son and I went there on a Saturday evening while wife was out of town and...we've been missing out. La Donita is excellent, authentic (we were only gringos there) and reasonably priced. I got 3 taco plate with beans, rice, roasted jalapeno and roasted onion stalk. Son had steak with roasted spicy green peppers and onions. Add chips, salsa and some sodas and we were happy and full. Tab came to ~$27. Looking forward to dining there again and maybe convincing wife to go.”
