Pescadero

Went last night and loved this place!! Be prepared to wait 45 minutes for a table. But you can get a drink while you’re waiting. It’s sooo worth it. Bartender was very kind - my Prosecco (on tap!) was a bit flat so he graciously gave me another drink for free. Our waitress was wonderful - and the food was outstanding. Get the lobster rolls, calamari, scallops and halibut. My only complaint is that it’s really loud (but I also loved the bustling atmosphere). Can’t wait to go back!

Great atmosphere, service, and menu. The wine is stored over the bar and near the ceiling so it gets pretty warm. It should really be served at a cellar temperature (~55 degrees). Hopefully they can improve the wine service to match the great cuisine. Terrific addition to Wilmette.

Food was pretty good, but the place is very loud. It is difficult to have a conversation. Also, when it is crowded, people are pretty much in each other's way and space.

First impression: a happenin’ thoughtful place with a beautifully balanced menu, courteous and well-paced service. Gotta go early or you’ll wait! I’ll be back for a more detailed account.
