Such a delicious and personal experience. The intimate dining room and one on one interaction with the chef made for a truly special fine dining experience. Each dish was as masterful as the one before it! Hats off to the entire team- what a memorable evening it was.
The single best dining experience in the state. Chef personally delivers and explains each course. Wine pairings were fantastic. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny.
This is a special and unique restaurant because it feels like you are in Chef Lachowicz‘s home instead of a typical restaurant. There are only 14 seats in this restaurant within a restaurant and each course was delivered and presented by Chef Lachowicz who was incredibly kind and gracious. We had the truffle tasting menu and the food was precise, artistic but most importantly delicious. The foie gras truffle ravioli was dreamy and pure food porn. Daniel runs the service, and he was warm, personable and we felt truly pampered. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate and delicious experience then George Trois is a brilliant choice.
It’s tough to capture the perfect exuberance I feel after such a meal - and to keep my rating at only five stars is even tougher still! It simply doesn’t seem fair.
We have been lucky to dine in some crazy places and experience the exquisite offerings of the ‘Bests,’ but I cannot say that any such a venture has earned as many gold stars as this fine place. These folks blew me outta the water, plain and simple.
It’s so heartening to feel the goodwill and humor between a Chef and his staff, and even better when that’s communicated in the least stiff, most sincere manner; the staff ambled, chatted, served and suggested with quiet skill and grace that’s felt as soon as you enter the establishment.
Our dinner was tasty in a way that almost transcends the cheapo language I’m using to describe it. I could bore you with dilettante details about the food, but I’m no food critic; I can only just tell you that it was sublime and that we will be coming back as often as we can. I had the best fish of my life tonight, accompanied by a menu, point-of-view, and delivery that I feel clearly trumps many Michelin-starred meals I’ve enjoyed.
This place is absolute perfection. The food is second to none and the service is amazing. This place give Alinea a run for there money. Thank you chef George for the opportunity and experience.
