Bar Louie - Skokie Holiday Inn North Shore

It's a Bar Louie in a hotel. Good spot to grab snacks before a movie.

Good drinks, especially the tickled pink martini, and good food. Service can be sketchy though.

I was brought here after a dinner date for a nightcap recently. Since my date insisted on paying I did not really pay attention to the prices but this is your typical after-hours bar. It wasn't too late (10pm on a Sunday) but it was very quiet; not too many hotel guests at the time we went. I actually prefer places that don't blast music so loud that you can't carry on conversation so this place was a great choice for a drink after dinner.
I had a whiskey sour and my date had a rum & cola: both were prepared well and our bartender was either snarky or flirtatious (hard to tell) and that was just fine with us. I'd go back to a place like this ????

Had a great time and chilled here on a Sunday afternoon. Nice football food specials and good service. Ordered a margarita and a few Blue Moons. The wings are great and so is the spinach artichoke dip.

The food is great with reasonable prices. The music is crazy loud though and there's tv's every where. It's over kill if you ask me. Lower the music a little bit so people can have a conservation without having to yell. Love the food though!
