Bonchon Skokie

Wings were great. Fries were good too but I didn't care for the seasoning, didn't think it was worth the $2 markup. Tasty foundation sodas. Tables were sticky but the person who helped us was friendly. Would definitely order the wings again and maybe try the loaded fries next time.

Bonchon in Skokie, Illinois pleasantly surprised me with their awesome halal tacos, which come with a delightful Korean twist. As someone who isn't usually a big fan of tacos, I was skeptical at first. However, after taking my first bite, I was hooked. The Korean fried chicken as the main filling was tender and flavorful, while the soft tortilla and fresh veggies perfectly complemented each other. The combination of textures and flavors was simply delightful.

Beyond the delicious food, the staff at Bonchon was incredibly friendly and attentive. They greeted me warmly and provided excellent service throughout my visit, making me feel right at home.

The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, creating a comfortable space to enjoy a fantastic halal meal.

In conclusion, Bonchon's halal tacos are a must-try item, even for those who aren't typically taco enthusiasts. With their unique Korean twist and friendly staff, this dining experience was nothing short of amazing.

I ordered a take out and I would say that I enjoyed everything I ordered.
The staff are so friendly and polite. I can’t decide what flavor of chicken wings to get and Ethan suggested to get half & half. Mixed of soy ginger and plain. The wings are perfect, cooked through, moist and crunchy. I love the japchae with bulgogi meat . And the chicken fried rice is also tasty. And if you have more room , try to end your meal with the delicious, cruller pastry/doughnuts with creamy sweet sauce . Yummy. The place is clean, and they have a convenient parking .

Great Korean fried chicken restaurant in Skokie. The chicken and rice are very tasty. Excellent food.
