Chaube Coffee Roasters & Cafe

I was traveling for work and looking for a good coffee shop to settle at before a meeting. When I first saw that this was connected to the Metra station, I almost left because I was worried it wouldn't be a good spot to hang out at. Quite the contrary! First off, a very welcoming atmosphere. I met the roaster and we had a great chat about coffee. Second, great coffee and great breakfast sandwiches, even for a vegetarian. The arugula was a very nice touch. A lot of the ingredients for the food came from local sources. You might have to be flexible with the arrival of your food, as the train was leaving soon after I arrived, so there was an in rush of people needing coffee quickly. Just be aware of this, but everything was worth the short wait. I left for my meeting, which ended up being cancelled. However, I couldn't resist going back to buy some coffee beans from the roaster to ensure I could get more of that great coffee at home!

I love their coffee. The best freshly roasted coffee beans ever. They roast their coffee beans every week.
