“Oh So Delicious! What a gem! We have ordered this for take out a few times now and never fails to be fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly! I go for the Jimmy’s creation bowl with mixed greens. Ive had it with rice too. Spicy tuna bowl is good as well, but in Jimmy’s creation the chunks of salmon and tuna are perfect. My husband gets the burrito more often than not, with extra spicy sauce on the side. The ramen is wonderful and travels really well, thanks to how they package it up, ingredients separate from broth and you mix together. And lastly the spring rolls, crispy n good! A must try (and retry) for all!”

“I found this place off Google. It didn’t have many reviews on Google or Yelp but the average review was solid. It’s located in the same area as Paik’s Noodle, SGD, and Bonchon. You’ll just turn right. Plenty of parking. When you walk in, the restaurant looks chic but casual. They have a bar too. We were welcomed and seated immediately. We ordered bacon okonomiyaki, truffle potato pancake, butadon, and tonkotsu shio ramen. Service was good but I wished our server would have wiped up the little spillage from the hot tea. Prices were decent. -bacon okonomiyaki 5 - ample amounts of bacon in the dish. Flavor was perfect, not overly salty. -truffle potato pancake 4.5 - the truffle sauce is more on the subtle side but you can still taste it. Pancakes are crispy. -butadon 5 - pork belly was perfectly tender and cooked. You can tell they took their time in preparing this dish so that the meat isn’t too tough. -tonkotsu shio ramen 5 - broth is not too heavy. It has a good flavor. Nice ratio of noodles to veggies to broth.”

“I love their mala! I've tried both the dry and soup versions. I prefer the soup because the dry one tends to be a little saltier. You can choose your own ingredients, and they will weigh it for you. So, the price is based on weight, and then they will add seasoning price depending on whether you choose dry or soup. We also ordered the fried pork, which tasted like tangsuyuk, with sweet and sour sauce. They also gave us free Katsu for the grand opening. I would like to go there again if I'm craving mala.”

“I love how they turned this place into a night hangout place for all age groups! I went here with a friend for some dinner and we ordered the udon combo which was delicious! It comes with a variety of fish cakes. We also got the Korean fried chicken that was super crispy! The pork belly was exceptional and you could taste the smokiness of it. The shrimp dish was 10/10! We also got beer (of course) to pair with the chicken for 치맥! Our waiters were very personable and funny! I would definitely come back.”

“We went to Taco Verde after hearing all the good reviews from my friends in chi town. It's a small privately owned taco place by an amazing young couple. I had this place on my MUST-VISIT list in Chicago. The owners were on site and were super welcoming, they suggested few of their signature dishes and we ordered them all. Steak & birria tacos are to die for and the birria pizza was super delicious. We also got the scrumptious churros (on the house) we ordered Jarritos drinks to finish our meals. My girls want to go back to try all the food again. They wish Taco Verde open their branch in Houston soon. We wish you guys all the best, thank you for your amazing food and warm customer service.”

“Sat outside on a lovely spring Sunday. The restaurant wasn’t busy so we had a whole section of the patio to ourselves. Food was quite good. Order was messed up by the kitchen so our shishito pepper appetizer arrived with lunch. The server offered to cancel it when it didn’t arrive but I am a vegan and wanted the dish as part of my dining experience. Portions were generous so we brought leftovers home. We had a Thai “steak” salad but I subbed tofu for the meat. Daughter had gluten free fried chicken. I tasted the batter and thought it was a bit sweet. We ordered cocktails as it was a bday lunch and my bloody was served as requested , not spicy, and I’d rate the cocktail 4.5 as I didn’t love the Bloody Mary mix- a very personal thing. Overall a great experience and will go back again”

At the location Red Rooster used to be(which i liked and was sad when it left) is now DeLishka, which is another deli style sandwich joint but this one is all European meats & cheeses on skinny baguettes and wow is it good. the Pierogis were excellent and the sandwiches are unique and also top class. “Great option for healthy, fast food. Emphasis on fresh ingredients and high-protein bowls with a wide variety of meats (and vegan options) to choose from. Had the Mexicali chicken bowl which was tasty, but skimpy. Small portion of chicken. Tiny guac topping. And too much salsa and yogurt dressing which way overpowered everything else. Even from the presentation (as pictured), the bowl just looked… small. For the price and given the nearby competition from Chipotle and Roti, I expect more. Will give it another try but won’t be running back.”

“I ordered wings, the chopped salad and cheese fries and s’mores cookie. the wings were a bit dry and didn’t have enough sauce on them. the cheese fries were underwhelming there was no truffle oil on them. you could definitely taste that there was no truffle oil. the chopped salad was really good though. The cookie was good but it was more of a cake consistency than a cookie. would possibly try other things there.”
