Great option for healthy, fast food. Emphasis on fresh ingredients and high-protein bowls with a wide variety of meats (and vegan options) to choose from. Had the Mexicali chicken bowl which was tasty, but skimpy. Small portion of chicken. Tiny guac topping. And too much salsa and yogurt dressing which way overpowered everything else. Even from the presentation (as pictured), the bowl just looked… small. For the price and given the nearby competition from Chipotle and Roti, I expect more. Will give it another try but won’t be running back.

I recently went to the new restaurant in Northbrook. I usually go for the Wrigley Peeled Smoothie, but decided to get the Salmon Caesar. The salad was good, but the salmon stole the show. It wasn’t just a small piece that you normally expect, but rather the size of my palm. It came out warm and tasted great. Highly recommend when you want a little more than a smoothie.

This restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood. It was fast, healthy, reasonably priced, and clean. My wrap was terrific and my wife loved her salad. The kids meal was a great deal, too, and I love that there are kids smoothies! We'll be back soon!

So happy to have another city favorite in the suburbs! My kids wanted more chicken fingers because they thoroughly enjoyed! Our shakes were excellent and my Mexcali bowl was delicious. The space is very clean and welcoming. We can't wait to go back!

My family had a great experience at the new Protein Bar & Kitchen. The restaurant looks fantastic - very clean and bright, with indoor/outdoor seating options. The service was fast and the staff was very helpful. We all enjoyed our food, especially the salads and smoothies. The Southwest Salad is one of my favorites. There are lots of options, including a fantastic kids menu with healthy options and smoothies that my kids loved! Will definitely become a staple.
