“Food was pretty average , definitely not worth the price. I mean the whole plate they offer was not good , you order a steak for 50 bucks it has a soup , a salad which is just tasteless, but the steak was great. You have to wait for your table to get filled like benihana. So no use of going to upscale place for time is a matter to you. I was there by 7 30 and started eating at 8 45. They could atleast serve drinks to people already there. Drinks were pretty good. I won't say the place is bad. Wait time after you have a reservation even to get a drink is what made me upset.”

“This store is absolutely the best one I've been to for the past twenty some years. It's always clean, we'll ventilated, and beautifully furnished. Everything looks always brand new! Their menu is always updated and clearly displayed. There is a variety of sitting options: booths, bar chairs with high tables, and club style areas. Restrooms are sparking clean. Finally, the food. For some reason the food there tastes better, even the fountain drinks and coffee. The owner and staff are very nice and connect easily with customers. A pleasure to go there to eat, where a sandwich is made with care, and the owner is not afraid to pick-up a broom and sweep the few crumbs after each customer!”

“Attended a children's birthday party there. It was very nice. Seven year old kids got to bowl. They also got pizza to eat with an ice cream desert. Adults got mini sandwiches to eat. Whole event lasted 2 hours. They also have a Sunday morning buffet which looked very nice. Good place to have a birthday party.”

“I have been to Granite City many times at different times of day. I like it best for lunch because they have terrific lunch combos...lot of choices and very filling. I did not find the dinner menu to be as good a value nor as high quality, though they have great happy hour specials on both food and beer. I am not a beer drinker, so I cannot speak to that. Brunch buffet has nice variety, is crowded, and probably a bit expensive in my opinion.”
