The Lawn Grill Restaurant Wilmette

Sat outside on a lovely spring Sunday. The restaurant wasn’t busy so we had a whole section of the patio to ourselves. Food was quite good. Order was messed up by the kitchen so our shishito pepper appetizer arrived with lunch. The server offered to cancel it when it didn’t arrive but I am a vegan and wanted the dish as part of my dining experience. Portions were generous so we brought leftovers home. We had a Thai “steak” salad but I subbed tofu for the meat. Daughter had gluten free fried chicken. I tasted the batter and thought it was a bit sweet.
We ordered cocktails as it was a bday lunch and my bloody was served as requested , not spicy, and I’d rate the cocktail 4.5 as I didn’t love the Bloody Mary mix- a very personal thing. Overall a great experience and will go back again

A friend and I met up at this spot after a quick Google search for something halfway. Great spot for a private hangout and fun atmosphere, beautiful views. Although we had reservations outside, it was colder than we anticipated and we were easily accomidated at the bar. We had a great time with Mae! Will return.

enjoyed a skirt steak sandwich i ordered for carry-out. very tender and flavorful. i believe they get their meat from zier’s…a local butcher in wilmette. i ordered with an optional side salad which was also good.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. They serve. I ate a meal with egg, brussels sprouts, and kimchi, which sounds like an odd combination, but really worked. The server was very friendly, and the outdoor patio is lovely. I certainly would come back here again, sometime in the future

Great new place set at the Wilmette Public Golf course. Completely redone, and a great menu put together by a wonderful Manager with a ton of experience, named John. In addition to great food, they have a top shelf selection of spirits. The menu is evolving and looking forward to seeing what it will be like this summer. This summer will feature and open wall concept that will connect the outside, with a large patio and places to sit and enjoy drinks.
