Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant

Excellent food and service. Hands down the best tampiquena I've ever had. The cheese enchilada that came with it was so good too. My two year old loved the kid's quesadilla with rice and beans.
Most importantly, the service was shine if the best we've experienced in a very long time. Plates were cleared in a timely manner, waters were refilled, and there was little to no wait time for requests.
I'm already planning what I'll order next.

One of the best Mexican food in Chicago. VERY tasty steak and delicious drinks . Staff and owners are very friendly. Love the place.

Came here last night for dinner. Beautifully decorated with lights, although the parking lot sucks a bit for bigger vehicles. Overall though great experience! The waiter gave us a round of shots for free and kept making sure we were doing well. The plates are a perfect size! They had a back up waiter that was on top of refilling the chips and water. Definitely recommend!!

There are many Mexican restaurants in Chicago. And many of these are very good. But I am lucky that my girlfriend lives near this restaurant, and I am glad she does. The menu looks maybe like many other Mex joints, but (!) the food is very good, and the service is great. And yes, the beverages are wonderful. Try a seafood dish. You won't be disappointed.
