First time I went had mushroom soup and a zapiekanka. Both great. Second time I was a little disappointed with the pork cutlet, tasted bland and breading didn't stick to the meat, I bet it was deep fried vs the traditional pan fried. Everything is very fresh so I will come back and try what else they have to offer.
They have good fries.
I be back definitely. Dishes looks great and taste delicious
????????
I went here for lunch with my mom, cousin, and brother and it sure was delicious, although a bit pricey. The pork cutlet was absolutely delicious with the tomato soup, the lemonade was very refreshing and the restaurant a nice polish feel to it. High schoolers and middle schoolers around the area will sure appreciate the hot dogs and fries here.
As a polish individual, I definitely recommend this place if you want the authentic taste of polish food.
I heard a lot from my friends about this place. I decided to visit this restaurant when I heard that they serve "Kebab". Polish Kebab isn't the same dish as these one from Middle East and it's very hard to find a good place that serve this meal. I took my family there for a dinner and we were very surprised! The Kebab was phenomenal!!! Almost the same taste I remember from Poland. My wife ordered Hungarian potato pancakes and she said that this dish was one of the best in whole Chicago.
The bistro is clean, the staff is very helpful if you have questions about menu. Highly recommended to visit and try something new! Good job Flavor Room Bistro!
