The guy in there is always happy. Makes it a pleasure to go in there. Food is always fresh.

I’ve been here twice now, and I can say that this is some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Crispy, tender, and delicious! Skip the KFC and come here instead. Pricing is reasonable (less than $10 for a 3 pc. meal). It’s a shame to see this chain struggling. This branch in Palatine is the best one I’ve been to. The owner is friendly and the place has a small but loyal customer base. Before you ask, this location is not the one where the 1993 Brown’s Chicken Massacre happened. That branch was permanently closed, demolished, and replaced by a Chase bank. Unfortunately, the tragedy really hurt the company. It left Brown’s Chicken stigmatized to this day and is the major reason why the company went bankrupt. If more people would just give this place a chance I think it might save the business.

Food is top notch! Chicken is the best of all chicken places in chicago. Don't leave without buying the breaded mushrooms. Mushrooms are amazing !

The best chicken around. Also their mushrooms and chicken livers are the best. If you want a chicken sandwich, it's made to order and is t he e best sandwich around. Great people too.

Recently, my daughter’s Mother -in-law passed away in Illinois and I needed a meal catered for the family. I am from SC and looked online and chose Brown’s.
My daughter and the family raved about the food. Fried chicken and sides, Lasagna and salad.... all excellent! The food arrived on time and was exactly as ordered.
