I sent my husband to pick up their impossible burger last week. I guess there was some confusion on the ordering process and said it took a while for anyone to notice he was there. The person who did speak to him though, my husband said seemed like a great guy and was very "cool" lol and helpful. Now for the burger... I meant to take a picture of it but once I saw that thang I completely forgot to! It was delicious. The best impossible burger I've had. The seasoning is amazing and I wasn't expecting the chips to be that delicious with the burger either. I do wish there were more though, especially when taking into consideration how big that burger is. 5/5 recommend. Can't wait to try more food items! It's really nice to have a vegan spot in the area. Thank you!!!
So, my husband ordered The MVK Burger
which was $15.99 and it came with chips and topped with vegan cheese, vegan mayo, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. & I ordered the Shirt's Fried Chicken Sandwich which was $15.99 and topped with lettuce, tomato, pickle, vegan mayo, and had a side of chips. Both of us really enjoyed our choices and will definitely be back to try other options.
Don’t mind me but you can try anything on the menu and it will not fail!!! Add me @Rasta_eats on all platforms for Vegan reviews and more!! “Chicago vegan foodie” Good Vibes
I had the opportunity to visit Meeks Vegan Kitchen. I got the 10 piece nuggets. It was delicious 😋. If you are a vegan or thinking of transitioning, this is definitely a good place to eat.
The day before going there with a few questions, I sent and email and they were very responsive. I will be returning!
Not hype, the food here really is GOOD!!!
After seeing a clip on Instagram about this place I decided to check it out. As of this review there is no phone number to call which makes visiting risky if they’re not open or to answer questions you may have. Really hope phone system is setup soon.
Decided to go with the Meathead pizza. This pizza is just outright GOOD from the crust to the cashew cheese (coconut cheese available if you have nut allergen) to the all the vegan meat toppings. No weird lingering taste whatsoever. While ordering someone recommended I try the stuffed peppers so I did. These peppers are amazing! When I first opened the box it wasn’t what I was expecting and certainly didn’t think they would be as good as they are however the flavors are balanced to perfection. I wanted another order after tasting but they had just run out.
Small restaurant not setup for “dining in” so probably best to plan on takeout although they do have a table you can sit at.
Finally good vegan pizza in the south suburbs and maybe even the best in the Chicagoland area.
