McDonald's

I gave them a 3 stars because:
Good:
-Speed of service
-General Hospitality and Customer Service
-Cleanliness
Not-so-good:
-Accessibility from street
-Food Quality (on occasion)

I have never had any problems with my orders here what-so-ever, I was raised in Oak Park/ River Forest and although I don't eat at McDonald's regularly I have been to this one a fair amount of times in my life. The only problem accessibility wise that they have is being on Harlem Ave and not being the easiest to enter or exit. They have a exit gate but in the years since its been remodeled and the gate has been there I have never seen it open. The inside is kept moderately clean (as clean as you could hope its nothing exceptional though). The food quality is not bad but the fries and burgers will every once in a while come out lukewarm. I have worked in the food industry most of my life and understand that sometimes its a bit hard to keep things pipping hot and fresh so this is not a big deal to me. The drive through is made well with a good amount of room for cars to get around who aren't in line.
Tips of improvement (I know my 10 cents isn't worth much but if management sees this maybe it will help)
You could potentially cut the fence in front of the restaurant and sidewalk 10 feet more south to make the entrance/exit a tad bit bigger with a sign saying Welcome dividing the entrance in half (about 10 ft for enterance and 6-10 ft for exit side). If that was done than cars entering would have an easier time and leaving would be a easier task when entering back onto Harlem.

I visit this location every morning. Always get my order right and very friendly.
But...this week we had a big snow storm, and the lot was not plowed at all. The cars were having trouble getting up the incline to the pick up window.
Can I tell you—-the manager and another staff member were standing outside at the ready to give each car a push when needed!!!! This is above and beyond outstanding service. Very rare today to see staff fully vested, but this McDonalds really does put customers first!

It was a good thing. They were fast friendly and will to give extra sauce without any issues! I was pleased!

It was very nice and I loved it. Though they forgot to give me my apple pie, I'm still very satisfied with my service. And I will be a patron as long as the customer service stays this amazing.
