My brother and I decided to visit Chuck's after our flight was cancelled... this basically made the entire trip worthwhile. I had the habanero corn chowder and the burnt tips - both were spicy and delicious. If this place were in W. Michigan, I'd be there once a week just to sample the entire menu (which is vast). We sat at the bar and our bartender was very knowledgeable of the menu and drink selections. Overall, a shiny bright experience on a bleak Thursday afternoon.
Really good food, fairly priced, worth it.
I would recommend the baked beans and mashed potatoes for sides. .Peach cobbler is really good.
Beware of the food coma! This place is delicious and the food portions will knock you into sleep mode. The staff is very friendly and you can dine in their restaurant or the voodoo lounge. I love the breakfast but they only have it on Friday, Saturday and Sunday now. They have daily specials so make sure you look to see what they are, (I used to get the Mexican pot roast on Sunday's it was amazing.)
The best brisket on the planet. Juicy and delicious. My friend ordered Mexican pot roast and it was equally delicious. Chuck talks to the customers and makes you feel welcome. The waitress was attentive to our table of 10. There was a great band named Tres Moustache playing there last night. They played a variety of music really well. We had a great time and are looking forward to going back. I wish I could have given a 6 star review.
