Petey's Bungalow Restaurant and Lounge

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The place is a very small semi formal atmosphere but very cozy. There are multiple coarses beginning with an olive plate, followed by garnishes, followed by bread and soup, followed by salad, the main dosh and desert. EVERYTHING was delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I can't wait to come back.

Takes you back to the 70's where they bring you out a relish tray followed by pickled beets, cucumbers and macaroni salad BEFORE you eat! The dinner included dessert and your choice of coffee or tea plus soup or salad!!!! The steak was good, but they don't have Rib eye ..... :(

I'm really amazed people are not lined around the block for this place. Clientele is a bit on the older side but food is simply amazing. I ordered BB-Ribs and it came with Soup AND salad AND veggie plate AND coffee AND hot bread AND dessert. Like: wow. The only complaint was the luck of the draw sitting next to a loud d00d complaining to his angelically patient mother why he is the good guy in his present divorce :-P

Petey's is a Southside institution. We've been there several times and enjoy the fact that it has remained constant for all these years. You can count on having excellent service and excellent food at a very reasonable price. It is great that there is still one place that has remained true to the supper club traditions. They make you feel like you're at home having a meal with friends.
