Went for my birthday and couldn't have had a nicer time. Great food and the waitress brought me a cake with a candle and dang Sto Lat to me. You will not leave hungry and try the lemoncello shots.
I would've given 5 stars because everything we ordered were delish; from main entrees (pierogies, stuffed cabbage, roast beef) to dessert (apple pie a la mode) all was good except for the service. Our server, I think her name was Klaudia, she was friendly and attentive (once you get her attention); but otherwise, service was slow and they weren't that busy either. So I'm guessing, they're either short-staffed or they prepare everything from scratch. We'll go back!
I come from a Ukrainian and Polish background, so this is my kind of comfort food. Most of the food is not exactly what I grew up with, but their potato-and-cheese pierogi are very much like my mom's. Be sure to ask for sour cream to go with these bacon-topped delights. When we were there celebrating my husband's birthday, the waitresses sang and brought him a surprise plate of cake with a gorgeous presentation of drizzled sauce, ice cream, whipped cream, and a big fanned out strawberry--si sweet!
Bar service was slow but table service was good. Food was good and plentiful. I recommend the grilled sheep's cheese. It came with bacon! Very good. I will return.
