“Just got the 3 tenders box for my fiancé and myself and overall it was great tasting! I felt the fries were a little expired but it still all tasted pretty good. The chicken is very meaty and the sauce goes perfect. The toast tasted great too. Also the tea and lemonade taste good! The drive through was getting busy but I ordered on the app and picked it up inside. They sort the orders by last name on the tables so I didn’t wait at all. “I have been trying to eat healthier these days. Nourish Kitchen is as healthy as it gets. The meals are made by a Chef (Chef Tiesha) personally, and taste great. You can talk directly to the chef to order exactly what and how you want your meal from the weekly menu. Meals are free of things like gluten, dairy, processed sugar and other bad things. I’ve found the key to losing weight and being healthier is changing your taste buds. Once you break that fast food addiction, the pounds fall off and you feel better. The meals can be picked up at Nourish Kitchen or delivered by a delivery person on Tuesdays. Chef Tiesha has stated that she will expand delivery days to match demand if needed. I have lost almost 60lbs without losing lean muscle, since I made the commitment to change my eating habits.”

“Excellent food! When you do order make sure you keep in mind this is a NEW business and to have PATIENCE. There was a technical difficulty with my order which caused me to wait some extra time but it was quickly fixed and I was on my way home in a jiffy. Prices are great for seafood (good seafood ain’t cheap and cheap seafood ain’t good) All around a very much needed addition to Dekalb. I highly recommend the crab dinner!”

“We went to Rise and Shine for the first time tonight 07/29/2020, They have only been open a week and a half at this point. First impression was the place looked great, very nice layout, nice tables and booths and flooring. I was a little surprised that there was still construction dust on the window ledges and the back of booths. We were greeted as we walked in, everybody was friendly. It was clear that our waitress was new to this job. She was friendly but did not know the menu. She could not tell us what sides came with the meals or if they had some items. She was prompt with our drinks and salads and soup. The salad was simple just lettuce one slice of cucumber and one slice of tomato and some cheese, the ranch dressing was very good. The soups were very good, however no bread basket which I expect with soup and salad and full meals. As we waited for our meal to be served the waitress came to the table several times. It took a long time for our food to be brought out to us. we waited about 50 minutes after placing the order. We ordered 3 of their specials. It was not busy, only 3 tables and us, they had 3 waitresses working, it was only 4pm on a Wednesday. My wife ordered the open faced turkey which came out cold, I had the fried cod, which was hot and good. A little over cooked and the waitress failed to bring out the potato, in fact she didn't know it came with veggie and potato, however my son ordered the boiled cod and she brought out his veggie and potato. He said his food was hot and very good. I think what had happened is they made my wife's meal first and had it sitting until the fish meals were done, causing it to get cold. We did not complain to the waitress because as i said it was clear it was her first waitress job and the restaurant had only been open a little over a week. So we were understanding of the situation. The prices were what we expected for this type of restaurant. This is a good location, good parking and parking lot. Over all for just opening I would give it 3 1/2 stars. We will be going back. I want to try their breakfast and fish fry. I hope they read this and continue to improve the service. I enjoy these type of places over the big chain places. I wish them good luck.”

It was a double burger so a lot of burger. Did have a weird experience with the hostess asking if we needed boxes while we were still eating. It appeared that she was trying seat a group from the bar. However our waitress in no way rushed us. The place kept busy. A bit of noise between the music and talking level, nothing obnoxious. “There isn't much competition for BBQ food in the area, but luckily this place is excellent. I'm usually not big on brisket, but they make it with a light smoky flavor and its delicious. I also accidentally ordered coleslaw instead of my usual potato salad as a side and to my surprise this is the best coleslaw I've ever had. All 4 BBQ sauces are fantastic as well, even though I usually hate carolina sauce. I saw some people complaining about the prices but its comparable to any other fast-casual restaurant. If you're in need of some good BBQ food in the area look no further!”

“PJ's is actually one of my favorite places to go. But it's always really really busy at dinner time. To the point that you wait at least 30 minutes or more for service after being seated. And it doesn't matter if your only there for drinks or if your there for food. The reason I really like this place is because the food is good and the people who work there are always friendly and very nice. There's been a couple occasions that our server tried to make up for the excessive wait time by paying for a round of drinks. But I think the solve all would be to hire and schedule more servers on the evenings its really busy.”
