Food is still good. Nice place for a quick after office get together. Not too noisy for a pub. This place has seen better days in terms of ambience.
The Kerry Piper is a cozy bar/pub located right off the Stevenson expressway. The inside has this old rustic Irish farm feel to it which makes the Guinness (or Coors lite preferably) taste amazing. The victim for that night was the shepard's pie. Overall it was a real good meal. The mashed potatoes on top of a mini personal iron skillet were crisp. Then the beef underneath contained all the flavors. But the menu seemed a bit pricey for what you get. However, I would still recommend this place.
Try shepard's pie
Cheers !
Awesome food, delicious! Good prices and service, there are TV's in case the big game is on. Fun place for out-of-town people and locals. Also has darts and other bar games.
I had not been here in several years and was pleasantly surprised this past weekend. We had a large party for early dinner for a 40th birthday party and the service never skipped a beat. The food was also exceptional. The kids had fish and chips which was just about perfect. My wife had a burger and I had corned beef and cabbage, again, both were excellent.
Looking forward to coming back for a lunch soon.
I really miss this place since I moved out west. This place had such a great classic feel to it with the best cider on tap I ever had. They also had kettle cooked vegetable chips and great food options. I really want to drive out there again one day if I ever have the time. I would recommend this place to anyone. I am not sure if they still do but they used to have live fiddlers play and they were awesome.
