Country House Restaurant

In love with the Chicken Cashew Salad with Poppy seed dressing ???? great place to get an awesome burger as well. Go check this place out and love it as much as I do. They have specials daily (food and drinks) and a amazing (huge portion) Fried Chicken entree with choice of side on Sunday's.

Went there during the week around lunch time. Quiet food was good. Nothing to complain about for the price and service we received.

Wonderful attention. When we came in this evening around 7:00 P.M., I casually remarked, "Too bad the fireplace isn't lit." The host immediately sat us by the fireplace, right underneath the boar's head, and proceeded to try to ignite the fire. Something was a little off, and several people busied themselves attempting to start the fireplace. Finally, the manager (?), personally, took on the challenge. She was successful! We had a warm, cozy meal by a fire. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Consistent food quality and atmosphere. Country House never disappoints. Make sure to visit the bar area where you can throw your free peanut shells on the floor. Also check out the $0.79 oyster Tuesdays.

Let me preface this by saying no restaurant prior has been as welcoming, paced, and home-style as this one. All restaurants I have been to have also been unable to sear a steak to the specifications I asked for either.

Fast forward to today and Country House not only delivered on its food, it made us feel like we were at home. Shout out to Tim, our server, for not only being attentive and accurate, but staying cool under pressure during the dinner rush. Shout out also to the staff and cook team, dinner was a service that was better and beyond what I could ask for. Perfectly rare steak, perfectly cooked shrimp, perfectly cooked everything. I'm not only impressed, I'm floored.

It's my birthday tomorrow, and had I the chance to come every birthday, I would. Hands down. Kudos, Country House, you became my new favorite.
