The food was cooked perfectly. It had a great deal of flavor and wasn't just the same old thing. The beer was good as well.
I had the grilled chicken with spinach and artichoke. It was out of this world. I plan to go there in May when I am back in Naperville. Plus Great Service.
Everything was delicious! No wonder this place was packed on a Tuesday night. It was mine and my husband's first time here, we actually came for trivia nighg but unfortunately came on the wrong night. But the food and our server Chris made up for it. We started with the waffle nachos, just delicious, perfectly crunchy and the bacon was a nice touch. My husband had a burger with maple bacon and seriously, the best maple bacon we'd ever tried so far. The burger was a bit too well done norwhe gets his medium, but still a great burger. I had the jambalaya, though I like mine more on the spicy side, there's was still excellent. I find places like this have jambalaya that's way too salty for some reason, but Granite City had it perfect. To top it off we enjoyed the giant cookie with ice cream for dessert. Also, as you guessed.. Excellent although we should've asked for an extra scoop of ice cream. I'll have to remember next time. The cookie itself was perfectly baked, crunchy on the outside and chewy in the center. Along with chocolate chips they also added slivers of, maybe almonds (?) and toffee which was a nice surprise, it added an extra lovely crunch. Definitely a great place to go to for an evening dinner. Highly recommend Chris as a server, he was attentive and personable!
Went for Friends trivia. Initially was only going to drink, but ended up getting food, as well. Had the Flying Monkey, very sweet, could have used a pour more of alcohol, but was good. The Asian shrimp tacos, though?? Delicious!
Went to Granite City for lunch on weekday. They had a 2 for $10 special on the lunch menu. I went with the pasta that had the bacon breadcrumbs and chicken in a Bock cheese sauce and the French Onion soup. Soup was good if a little salty (and I really like salt). The pasta was good, but I wish it had a little more sauce.
