Being Filipino, I desperately wanted to LOVE this place. The restaurant is beatifully decorated and very inviting. The staff was helpful and friendly. The presentation of the food was also pretty.

However, I was not overly impressed by the taste of the food. I understand that the menu is Filipino-American fusion, but some of the Filipino foods were only average. I ordered the Filipino Breakfast with longanisa sausage, a side of the Arroz Caldo, and a latte.

The longanisa was a bit overwhelming after taking several bites. The flavor was good, but it was a little too sweet and had a strong smokey flavor. The arroz caldo was good because I had it on a cold, rainy day. It wasn't as thick and hearty and other arroz caldo that I've had, but the chicharron on top was a nice addition. The latte was very strong, which made it good. And the latte art was cute.

Overall, I feel like this restaurant is perfect for those who have never had Filipino food before or who have been hesitant to try it. But as someone who grew up on Filipino food, I was a bit disappointed.

Been wanting to try this place for a while, I was actually skeptical of the place because being Filipino, I typically have reservations with restaurants that have Filipino "inspired" or fusion cuisine, but I was honestly impressed. It was definitely a delicious balance between unique and authentic. Everything we ordered was delicious, would have love to come back for dinner but brunch was a lot of food. Will definitely come back sooner rather than later.

Service was great too, our server Elinore was incredibly accommodating, she had a great personality and even gave me a complimentary drink, since I spilled mine trying to swat a bee 😂.

The atmosphere is inviting and has a fresh design language that I really enjoyed. I recommend this place, probably top 3 places to eat in Wheaton.

Well, I honestly cannot say enough good things about our experience there a few days ago. Absolutely love the atmosphere whoever designed this is extremely talented every single room had its own charm.. our server Riley was amazing! Super charming, extremely knowledgeable about all of the food and drinks and offered great recommendations. As far as the cocktails go. Absolutely hands down the best drinks. My husband and I have ever had anywhere ever.!!! Between the kitchen and the bar. There are some extremely talented people in charge here. Flavor everywhere!!! And the service is outstanding.!
We had the eggrolls to start out with,AMAZING! And my husband and I shared the chicken sandwich and the steak dish. The chicken was cooked, perfectly super flavorful and moist, and with the pickles and coleslaw. It was so good. Steak was super tender and flavorful. I cannot wait to go back and try other things on this menu because I want to try them all.😂
Alec served us our cocktails and offered recommendations as well as a sample of the frozen espresso martini! Absolutely delicious!
My husband and I will definitely be regulars here. Seriously. Every part about this experience was five star all the way.!!!

Given all the fanfare, I was expecting to love this place. The good: I love the updated coloring, the friendly wait staff, the open kitchen, and the brussels sprout salad. The less good: there seem to be a lot of staff on hand, but you can’t get a reservation. We went in to be seated at the bar at five and we were the only ones there. The restaurant was empty. When we left at a quarter after six there were still nine tables max seated in the whole place, except there were no reservations available. The barstools were incredibly uncomfortable. One other person came in, sat down at the bar for a few minutes, and got up and moved as well. The hostess was able to give us a table easily, despite no reservations. Tried their twist on the old-fashioned, it was OK. Given that they specialize in bourbon, I did expect the bourbon to shine, but there wasn’t a whole lot else to be tasted The menu is small, while I loved my salad, the vegetable noodles was…just ok. It is a pork heavy restaurant, so maybe the ticket is ordering one of those dishes. People nearby were seated at these whimsical benches, the kind you see in a park that wrap around a tree. They were fun looking, but I gather they found them quite uncomfortable. Lastly, a purse hook under the bar seems like a pretty common place thing anywhere are you actually expect women to sit?

Update: owner response says there's a ramp in the back, and rolling out new kid play space. Also changing tables were added. Can't wait to come back and see the new additions!

Brunch was delicious, drinks were strong, atmosphere was nice , servers and management were friendly, and bathrooms were clean. Price point is similar to other restaurants in the downtown area, $20 average ish per plate. Parking is street parking or nearby garage and walk a block.

Somewhat kid friendly, there's items on the menu that kids would eat. But I didn't see a ramp or elevator, so not stroller accessible. Also there's no changing table in the bathroom.

Overall we liked it and we would come back to try the dinner menu.
