Naperville, With Tasty In Indian Food, the good times are back! I wasn't sure if I wanted to try at first, but my buddies told me good things about the business takeover and the new cooking dishes. Folks from our family and friends came to visit over the Thanksgiving holidays. We ordered Cut Mirchi, which is the tastiest meal ever and something that kids would enjoy. The Chicken 555, Pepper Chicken, Paya - Mutton, Panner Masala Tikka, Gobi Manchuria, and the Chicken Lollypops were all very popular and were gone in a flash, so more had to be ordered. Biryani is a dish that you should try. I don't usually like rice, but I had to eat it. It made me think of the first time I ate biryani, which was 20 years ago in Hyderabad, India. ended with great sizzling desert. We'll be back soon to try the rest of the food. The best four seasons are in Chicago, and Golkonda has true Indian and fusion food at all four seasons.

We had Dinner at Golconda today .
Ambience was very lively and light touch of music was a plus. Picture frame of spices map behind the counter was very good and wall picture frames gave Indian touch .
Ordered Stuffed Mirchi , Patthar-ka-Chicken and Mirpakaya goat. Presentation of appetizers was very good. Stuffed mirchi had apt amount of stuffing and had right spice level.
Patthar-Ka-Chicken was very tasty and unique taste that I did not find in any other restaurant .
Mirpakaya got was sizzling hot and meat was very well cooked .
Chicken and Mutton Dhum Biryanis were very fresh and delicious . Mutton Biryani had tender meat and could separate with finger tips. Spices were very authentic and by far is the best Biryani.
Salan had very unique taste and went very well with Biryani. After a long time had a feeling of eating very very authentic Biryanis.
Double-ka-Meeta had right sweet levels and was garnished with nuts which gave crunchy fell in each bite along with soft bread .
Sizzling Chocolate brownie had unique presentation and very tasty.

Service and fine dine-in experience was awesome . Thanks to the staff for patiently guiding on dish selection.

I would definately recommend to others to give a shot.

We visited our friends in Aurora, IL, we went to Golconda Indian Restaurant and we were received very well and service was quick and delicious. The good food proved the other high reviews are correct.
The portions were a good for sharing between two or three people. The paya soup was tasty and the biryani was flavorful and tender.
They have a pretty busy takeout business. Lots of people were popping in for orders.
We would return in the future.
